Launching Perdixnet
Perdixnet has been built using knowledge from 50 years of research on partridges and natural habitats by the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust, nearly 50 years of international networking by the International Association for Falconry and Conservation of Birds of Prey and 15 years of work towards helping local communities and land managers by European Sustainable Use Group. It will launch at national events during the Autumn of 2016. A launch for Europe will be in Brussels early in 2017.
The conservation work continues, and following the IAF Biodiversity Working Group meeting held on 3 August 2024, it was agreed to update the Perdixnet-UK site. In the UK, over 70% of all land is farmland, with the grey partridge acting as an important biodiversity indicator species.
After launch, this page will become a Calender of major Perdixnet events.
